There is no official register of verified skincare sellers in Bangladesh. The four checks that actually separate sellers
Every one of these is something you can verify before paying. That is the whole point: a claim you cannot check is marketing, not evidence.
1. Can they show the importer invoice?
The single hardest thing for a counterfeit seller to produce. Genuine imported skincare arrives with a customs and importer paper trail. Ask any seller: *"Can you show me the importer invoice for this batch?"*
A verified seller can. A reseller buying from a wholesale market cannot — not because they are dishonest, but because they genuinely do not know where the stock came from.
2. Can you check the batch code yourself?
Every legitimate product carries a batch code, printed into the packaging — not on a sticker. It should match the manufacturer's records and the seller's invoice. If the code is stickered on, missing, or smudged, stop.

3. What happens if it turns out to be fake?
"We only sell authentic products" is a claim. "If it is proven counterfeit, here is what we pay you" is a guarantee. The difference is whether the seller carries any cost when they are wrong.
Ask what the written policy is before you buy — not after.
4. Is the price plausible?
A product 40–60% below every other seller is not a deal. Authentic stock has a real landed cost: the product, freight, and import duty. Nobody sells below that for long. If the price is impossible, the product usually is too.
