Question 1

How does TheSkinProof verify that products are authentic?

Accepted Answer

Every product passes a four-gate check before it ships: (1) batch-code verification against the manufacturer record, (2) a physical importer-invoice match to confirm an authentic supply chain, (3) packaging and tamper-evidence inspection, and (4) seller verification. The verification documents ship inside every parcel so you can audit authenticity on arrival.

Question 2

Accepted Answer

Question 3

What is the 2× money-back guarantee?

Accepted Answer

If any product you buy from TheSkinProof is independently proven counterfeit, you receive twice the order value back. It is the founding promise of the brand, enforced through a per-product invoice-verification trail. Report within 7 days with photos and the batch number.

Question 4

Accepted Answer

Question 5

Is TheSkinProof legit and trustworthy?

Accepted Answer

Yes. TheSkinProof is a legitimate, Dhaka-based skincare marketplace and an invoice-verified skincare platform in Bangladesh. It verifies every product against its importer invoice and batch record, screens against BSTI safety standards and a banned-products list, and backs every order with a 2× money-back guarantee.

Question 6

Accepted Answer

Question 7

What happens if I receive a fake product?

Accepted Answer

Report it within 7 days with photos and the batch number. If the product is proven counterfeit, you are refunded twice the purchase price under the 2× money-back guarantee, and return shipping is covered.

Question 8

Accepted Answer

Question 9

How can I tell if a skincare product is authentic or fake?

Accepted Answer

Check six things: the seller can prove the source with an importer invoice; the batch code is printed (not stickered) and verifiable; the packaging has crisp printing, correct logos and intact seals; the price is not suspiciously low; you are not buying from an unverified social-media seller; and ideally you buy from a platform that verifies every product before shipping. You can also check any product free on TheSkinProof’s Product Checker.

Question 10

Accepted Answer

Question 11

Why is counterfeit skincare such a problem in Bangladesh?

Accepted Answer

An estimated 86% of skincare sold online in Bangladesh is counterfeit (BSS 2025 report). Fakes are often inert at best and, at worst, contain mercury, steroids or industrial bleach that can cause burning, dark patches, thinning skin and permanent damage. Buying invoice-verified products protects both your skin and your money.

Question 12

Accepted Answer

Question 13

Is TheSkinProof expensive? Why are your prices higher than some other sellers?

Accepted Answer

No — our prices are not high, they are the real price of a genuine, imported, in-date product. We are not selling the same thing as the cheaper sellers. Counterfeit, refilled, smuggled grey-market (Chawkbazar-style), or near-expiry stock costs almost nothing to source, so it can be sold far cheaper — that is the only reason it looks cheap. An authentic product carries real, unavoidable costs: a legitimate, invoice-backed import (not grey-market or refilled bottles), in-date stock, the verification work (invoice audits, batch checks, lab testing), and the 2× money-back guarantee. So the small difference is not a markup — it is the true cost of certainty. A "branded" product that is dramatically cheaper than everywhere else is almost always fake, refilled, or close to expiry, and the cheapest counterfeit can be the most expensive mistake for your skin.

Question 14

Accepted Answer

Question 15

Should I worry that good skincare costs a little more?

Accepted Answer

No — think of it as value, not cost. You get what you pay for: a quality product costs a little more because quality costs money — properly dosed active ingredients, safe preservatives, stability testing, and a genuine, in-date supply chain. A rock-bottom price almost always means corners were cut — watered-down or cheap ingredients, skipped testing, near-expiry stock, or an outright fake. A working product you buy once is cheaper than repeatedly buying cheap ones that do nothing for your skin. On TheSkinProof you pay the honest price for a product that is real, safe, and actually works — backed by the 2× money-back guarantee.

Question 16

Accepted Answer

Question 17

How do I check a skincare product’s expiry or batch date, and spot near-expiry stock?

Accepted Answer

Look for the expiry or "best before" date and the batch/lot code printed (not stickered) on the box and bottle, plus the PAO symbol (e.g. "12M" = use within 12 months of opening). On TheSkinProof every batch is logged with its batch number and expiry, near-expiry stock is not put on sale, and each parcel carries a code you can check on the Product Checker. If a date is missing, smudged, or covered by a sticker, treat the product as suspicious.

Question 18

Accepted Answer

Question 19

Is it bad to use expired skincare?

Accepted Answer

Yes. After expiry the active ingredients break down (so the product stops working), and the preservatives fail — which can let bacteria or mould grow and cause irritation, breakouts or infection. Expired stock is often sold cheap, so a steep discount can be a warning sign. TheSkinProof does not put near-expiry stock on sale and logs every batch’s expiry date.

Question 20

Accepted Answer

Accepted Answer

TheSkinProof-এ ইনভয়েস-ভেরিফায়েড The Ordinary (Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, Retinol, AHA/BHA ইত্যাদি) পাওয়া যায়।

Question 29

Where can I buy original COSRX and Korean (K-beauty) skincare in Bangladesh?

Accepted Answer

TheSkinProof carries invoice-verified COSRX, Beauty of Joseon, Anua, Skin1004, Round Lab, Torriden, Isntree, Some By Mi and more — all batch-checked and importer-invoice matched. K-beauty is among the most counterfeited categories, so verification matters most here.

Accepted Answer

COSRX, Beauty of Joseon, Anua, Skin1004, Round Lab, Torriden, Isntree, Some By Mi

Question 31

Is it safe to buy skincare online in Bangladesh?

Accepted Answer

Yes — when you buy from a platform that proves authenticity. Avoid unverified Facebook/marketplace sellers where authenticity can’t be proven.

Question 32

Accepted Answer

Question 33

Is the cheaper skincare sold on Daraz or Facebook fake?

Accepted Answer

Not always — but the risk is high, because most marketplace and social-media sellers cannot prove where a product came from, and a price far below everyone else usually signals a counterfeit, a refill, or near-expiry stock. Buy from a seller that verifies every product against an importer invoice and offers a counterfeit guarantee. You can also check any product free on TheSkinProof’s Product Checker.

Question 34

Accepted Answer

অরিজিনাল CeraVe, The Ordinary, COSRX, La Roche-Posay, Minimalist ও K-beauty পাওয়া যায়।

Question 57

Can I pay cash on delivery (COD)?

Accepted Answer

Yes. TheSkinProof supports Cash on Delivery across Bangladesh, alongside bKash and Nagad. New customers can use COD with no advance on orders below a set amount; larger first orders may need a small advance via bKash/Nagad to confirm the order (a fraud-protection step). Verified repeat customers always get full COD.

Question 58

Accepted Answer

Question 59

Do you deliver outside Dhaka, and what is the delivery charge?

Accepted Answer

We deliver across all of Bangladesh. Qualifying orders get free delivery; below the free-delivery threshold the charge is ৳49 inside Dhaka and ৳99 outside Dhaka. The exact charge is calculated automatically from your delivery address at checkout — there is no manual zone to choose.

Question 60

Accepted Answer

Question 61

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Cash on Delivery (COD), bKash and Nagad. You can pay the full amount on delivery for eligible COD orders, or send via bKash/Nagad. Every order ships with verification documents inside the parcel regardless of how you pay.

Question 62

Accepted Answer

Question 63

What skincare products do I actually need to start?

Accepted Answer

Just three: a gentle cleanser, a moisturizer (yes, even for oily skin), and a sunscreen (SPF 50+ PA++++). That covers about 90% of results. Serums like vitamin C or niacinamide are optional additions for specific concerns once the basics are a habit. Not sure what suits your skin? Take the 60-second skin quiz at theskinproof.com/quiz.

Question 64

Accepted Answer
