Counterfeit skincare is a real problem in Bangladesh — 86% of skincare sold online is estimated to be fake (BSS 2025). Fake products can contain mercury, steroids or industrial bleach, with documented cases of burning, hyperpigmentation, and permanent skin damage. Dot & Key is one of the most-counterfeited brands in the country because of its popularity.
Every Dot & Key unit shipped from TheSkinProof comes with the original importer invoice and passes a manual batch-code check before dispatch. If you receive an item that turns out to be counterfeit, we refund 2× the price — no questions, no friction.
