Shop all verified products →There is no single skincare routine that suits everyone. What works on oily skin can leave dry or sensitive skin tight and irritated. Pregnancy rules out several common actives, and the same moisturiser behaves very differently in Bangladesh's humid monsoon and its dry winter. A routine has to be built around your skin, your concerns, your time and your budget.
That is exactly what the free TheSkinProof skincare quiz does. Answer eight short questions and within a minute you get a complete routine in which every product is in stock and invoice-verified.
What the quiz asks
The questions are simple, but each answer changes a real decision in the routine:
- Your skin type — oily, dry, combination, normal, sensitive, or "not sure". If you are not sure, the next questions work it out.
- Your main concerns — acne, dark spots, dullness, redness, large pores, an oily T-zone, dryness or fine lines. You can choose more than one.
- How your skin feels two hours after cleansing — tight, balanced, shiny on the forehead and nose, or oily all over. This is the most practical test of skin type there is.
- Your sunscreen habit — daily, only when going out, rarely, or never.
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding — if yes, certain actives are removed from the routine.
- How much time you have — two or three minutes, five to seven, or a full routine.
- Your budget — the total cost of the routine stays inside it.
- The season — summer, monsoon or winter, which matters a great deal in Bangladesh's climate.
How the routine is built
Safety rules are applied first. Retinoids and similar actives are removed during pregnancy. Strong exfoliating acids are removed for sensitive skin. Oil-control products are removed for dry skin, and heavy creams for oily skin. Strong actives are kept to the treatment step so the same ingredient is never layered twice. Anything out of stock never appears.
From the options that pass those rules, AI then picks one product per step to fit your skin, concern, season and budget, and writes a short explanation of why the routine suits you — in both Bangla and English. Because the safety rules are applied before the AI sees anything, it never even sees a product that would be unsafe for you.
A routine usually has a cleanser, a toner or essence where useful, a treatment or serum, a moisturiser and a sunscreen. With less time or a smaller budget the routine gets shorter, but the cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen always stay.
What to do with your routine
The result page shows each product's price and the total, plus the order to use them in the morning and at night. You can add the whole routine to your cart in one tap, or tap "Save the routine" to keep it in your account — and if you do not have an account yet, you can create one in a minute with just your name, phone number and a password.
The general order is: in the morning, cleanser, then serum or essence, moisturiser and sunscreen last. At night, cleanser, then treatment and moisturiser. Some ingredients are night-only, and the routine page marks them clearly. When you start a new active, use it two or three times a week at first and patch-test it on your inner wrist.
Results take time. Most routines show a visible difference in four to eight weeks. If you change products every week you cannot tell what is working, so give one routine at least a month.
Change the routine when the season changes
In Bangladesh your skin's needs change at least three times a year. In summer and the monsoon a light gel moisturiser and a sweat-resistant sunscreen work well, and fungal acne is more common. In winter, from November to February, the air is dry, so a slightly richer moisturiser helps and a strong cleanser should be used less. When the season changes, take the quiz again and choose the new season — the routine is rebuilt to match.
Your routine only works with the real thing
This is the part that matters most. Cheap copies of the products the quiz recommends are sold everywhere. The packaging can look identical while what is inside is not. A fake or expired product will never improve your skin — it can cause breakouts, irritation or marks, and then it looks as if the routine itself has failed.
On TheSkinProof every product is matched to the importer's invoice and batch number, and if a product is ever proven fake you get 2× your money back. If you buy elsewhere, check the product photo with our free product checker before you buy, and ask the seller to show the invoice. This guide explains how to check.
Want a more personal routine?
The quiz covers most needs well, but every person's skin has its own history. If you have several concerns at once, have reacted to a product before, or want to know which of your current products to keep — message TheSkinProof on Facebook. Our skincare team reads every message and builds a routine around your skin, your budget and your concerns. No bots.
In your message, tell us your skin type, your main concern, what you use now and roughly what you want to spend each month, so the answer can be quick and specific.
